Michael Daley's poems and essays have been published widely in literary magazines and anthologies. He is the author of eight chapbooks and his poetry collections include The Straits (1983), To Curve (2008), Moonlight in the Redemptive Forest (2010), Of a Feather (2016), and Born With (2020). He has also published a book of essays, Way Out There (2007) and a translation of the Italian poet Lucia Gazzino's Alter Mundus (2013). His sixth collection of poems, True Heresies, and a novel, Telemachus, are forthcoming in 2021. He lives in Anacortes, Washington, and is currently the publisher of Empty Bowl.
